The images below show the 9th and 12th iterations of the Lévy dragon curve. Click on the play button to see an animation of how one can traverse each curve from the left endpoint in groups of four segments corresponding to the symbolic code RSR. These groups are drawn in alternating colors of gold and brown. Where two consecutive groups have segments that overlap, those segments will be traversed in opposite directions, once in each color (so only the last color will be visible). The three buttons labeled slower, normal, and faster will adjust the drawing speed.
